Astute's Power team is partnered with a leading Energy company, who operate several Energy from Waste Power (EfW) Stations across the UK, to recruit for an Outage and Projects Engineer to cover their EfW sites in Scotland, which includes Glasgow and Dunbar. There will be occasions you are asked to support with other sites across the UK so flexibility with being asked to travel will be required. The vital Outage and Projects Engineer role comes with a salary of £62,000 + car allowance + up to 10% Bonus + overtime + Benefits. Responsibilities and duties Reporting to the National Outage and Projects Manager, you will be responsible for: Coordinating, scheduling, and plan maintenance activities during planned and unplanned shutdowns of the plants Create engineering plans for all maintenance outages, ensuring all stock items are available along with the correct resources. Create detailed scopes of work and engineering specifications ready to be sent out for tender. Manage statutory inspections ensuring all documentation is completed and up to date.
