Astute's Renewables Team is partnering with an established Anaerobic Digestion business who are looking to recruit an Energy Coordinator. The strategically important Energy Coordinator role comes with a salary of up to £40,000 per annum, hybrid working and the opportunity to develop within a growing renewable energy business. Responsibilities and duties of the Energy Coordinator role:

  • Support the administration of UK renewable energy support schemes including FIT, ROCs, RHI, GGSS, REGO and RGGO.
  • Input meter readings, production data and subsidy claims through OFGEM and third-party portals.
  • Maintain accurate compliance records and support regulatory audits.
  • Monitor renewable energy subsidy schemes and communicate relevant changes internally.
  • Collate operational and generation data to support energy sales and commercial activities.
  • Track renewable energy certificates and maintain lifecycle records.
  • Investigate metering and production data discrepancies across multiple sites.
  • Produce reports and maintain spreadsheets to support operational and financial reporting.
  • Liaise with Finance, Commercial, Operations, Plant Managers and external stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting and submissions.

Professional qualifications:

  • Previous experience within an administrative, compliance, analytical, utilities or data-focused role.
  • Strong attention to detail and experience managing complex datasets.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables and data validation.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Experience of OFGEM portals, renewable energy schemes or energy markets would be advantageous.

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Analytical and comfortable working with large volumes of operational data.
  • Proactive and able to identify and resolve discrepancies.
