Responsibilities and duties of the Technical Control Centre Team Lead role Reporting to the O&M Manager you will: Carry out planned preventative maintenance across utility-scale solar PV sites Diagnose and repair faults on solar PV systems, electrical equipment and associated infrastructure Respond to reactive maintenance callouts to minimise site downtime Complete scheduled inspections and ensure sites remain compliant with health and safety standards Produce accurate maintenance reports and record all completed work Identify opportunities to improve system performance and site reliability Assist with the commissioning of new solar PV installations Ensure compliance with all company Health, Safety and Environmental policies Other duties as required Professional qualifications We are looking for someone with the following: NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification would be advantageous Experience maintaining, troubleshooting or commissioning electrical systems Previous experience within utility-scale or commercial solar PV would be beneficial Personal skills The Solar O&M Technician Role would suit someone who is: Safety conscious with a strong commitment to high HSE standards Practical and hands-on with excellent fault-finding abilities Self-motivated and comfortable working independently across multiple sites A strong communicator who works well within a wider operations team Keen to develop their career within the renewable energy industry Salary and benefits of the O&M Solar Technician role Competitive salary DOE Company vehicle Ongoing training and professional development Opportunity to work on utility-scale solar projects across the UK Join a growing business committed to the UK's renewable energy transition #LI-MN1 INDREN Astute People are acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
