Astute's Renewable Energy team is partnering with a leading business who own and operate a portfolio of anaerobic digestion plants. We are looking to recruit a Feedstock Development Manager, ideally located in the Yorkshire area, to source sustainable materials for new and existing plants. The vital Feedstock Development Manager role comes with a very competitive salary (depending on experience), a performance related bonus and additional benefits package. Responsibilities and duties of the Feedstock Development Manager role
- Procure crop and waste feedstocks for our biomethane plants in the Northeast of the UK
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
- Negotiate contracts and manage supply agreements
- Analyse market trends and identify new feedstock opportunities
- Collaborate with the feedstock team to optimize procurement strategies
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and sustainability requirements
- Monitor and report on feedstock inventory and supply chain performance
- Other duties as required
Professional qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- A full UK Driving Licence (essential)

- 3+ years of experience in feedstock procurement or similar role in the renewable energy sector
