Astute's Nuclear team is partnering with a leading fabrication company to recruit a Graduate Quality Engineer based in Oxfordshire to support their growing project book. Responsibilities and duties of the Graduate Quality Engineer role:

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of quality procedures, inspection plans and project quality requirements
  • Translate engineering drawings, specifications and standards into effective shop floor controls
  • Verify product conformity through inspection and documentation review across fabrication and welding processes
  • Identify, report and support investigation of non-conformances, contributing to root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Maintain accurate quality documentation, including traceability records and certification packs
  • Assist with internal, customer and third-party audits
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure compliance and resolve issues
