Astute People’s Power Team are exclusively working with the South Clyde Energy Centre who will be operating a brand new Energy from Waste Power Station. The plant, currently under construction, is capable of processing up to 350,000 tonnes of waste per year, producing power for up to 70,000 homes. We are looking for an Administration Assistant to join the team on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide day-to-day PA and administrative support to multiple site and project managers.
  • Manage calendars, meetings, travel arrangements, and coordinate site visits.
  • Prepare meeting minutes, reports, presentations, and project documentation.
  • Maintain organised filing systems, document control, and confidential records.
  • Support office coordination including onboarding, supplies, and general site administration.
  • Liaise professionally with contractors, suppliers, visitors, and internal stakeholders.

Professional Qualifications

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above).
  • Basic IT qualification (e.g. ECDL / ITQ / Microsoft Office certification) or proven competency.
  • It would be advantageous to have a formal qualification in Business / Office Administration.

Personal Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
