Astute s Power Team is partnered with a market-leading Energy company to recruit for an Electrical Technician to join their Energy from Waste Power Station in Exeter, Devon. The vital Electrical Technician role comes with a salary of 49,129 + up to 12% Bonus + Overtime + Private Medical + Pension + Benefits. Responsibilities and duties

  • Fault finding and maintaining electrical assets including motors, transformers, switchgear, drives and HV/LV plant
  • Working in line with maintenance techniques and best practices
  • Assisting in plant developments and projects
  • Supervising and setting to work on site contractors
  • Maintaining accurate maintenance records on the site Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Assist in outage planning, scheduling and coordination
  • To ensure the availability of plant spares

Professional qualifications

  • Ideally have an NVQ Level 3 qualification in a relevant engineering discipline such as Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  • 17th / 18th Edition wiring regulation qualification will be desired
  • A health and safety qualification such as an IOSH will be highly advantageous
