The strategically important Quality Assurance Project Engineer role comes with a competitive day rate and is offered on a contract basis. Responsibilities and duties of the Quality Assurance Project Engineer role:
- Reporting to the Asset Support Team Leader you will:
- Act as the lead QA representative across projects, outages, and maintenance activities
- Ensure delivery against KPIs including safety, time, cost, quality, and compliance
- Implement and improve QA/QC processes, including auditing work control systems
- Support projects in collaboration with plant teams, OEMs, and contractors
- Apply quality and lean methodologies such as APQP, Kaizen, and Six Sigma
- Ensure projects meet required quality standards, reducing rework and non-conformance
- Define QA requirements and support procurement and tendering activities
- Manage and resolve Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
- Drive continuous improvement through root cause analysis and reporting
- Ensure compliance with HSSEQ standards and CDM regulations
