Responsibilities and duties of the Manufacturing Engineer role
- Analyse existing manufacturing processes and develop improved methods to increase efficiency, quality and cost effectiveness.
- Provide technical support to production teams, resolving manufacturing issues and responding to technical queries.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure products meet customer requirements and industry standards.

Professional qualifications
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of three years' experience in a Manufacturing Engineer position within the nuclear sector or another highly regulated manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of nuclear safety regulations, quality standards and compliance requirements.
- Experience applying Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Demonstrable experience designing, defining and improving manufacturing processes, tools and equipment.
- Strong project management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- SC clearable or currently SC cleared, with sole British nationality required.
