Astute's Power Team is partnering with a leading Engineering and Industrial Solutions Sub-Contractor who operate in the Power Generation, Utilities, Petrochemical and Heavy Industry sector. As part of their continued growth and investment, we are looking for an Electrical Supervisor to oversee the day to day activities across site operations.

Responsibilities and duties of the Electrical Supervisor role:

  • Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the technicians are on time, clear on requirements and following HSE.
  • To conduct technical reports.
  • Assist with work scope preparations including PPE, tooling, QA documents, and equipment sign off documents such as pump requirements.
  • Must check regularly with customers to ensure the work is being conducted satisfactorily to the customers' requirements.
  • Attend safety meetings each month with the team.
  • Supervise single projects or outages.
  • Ensure works scheduled are met on time and the team understand the requirements of each scope.
  • Conduct toolbox talks on larger projects.
  • Conduct site audits with the team, noting positives and negatives.
  • Liaise with engineers, planners, and other departments to coordinate work and resolve problems.
