Astute's Renewables team is looking to recruit a Field Installation Engineer to join the specialist renewable energy team. This role will primarily be field based throughout the UK.

Responsibilities and duties:- Working outdoors in all weather conditions (work is rarely cancelled due to weather)
- Carrying out groundworks, including small excavations and pole installations
- Mounting electrical boxes and dry-fitting electrical components
- Performing electrical wiring, splicing, and working with Cat 6 / Cat 7 cabling
- Installing and commissioning camera systems, optical/infra-red cameras, and access control pads
- Conducting walk testing and commissioning alongside technical engineers
- Fault-finding and resolving issues on site
- Undertaking other duties as required to support site operations
- CSCS or ECS card is essential
- NVQ Level 3 electrical qualification and Gold Card would be an advantage
- Full UK Driving Licence essential with additional heavy machinery licences being a plus
- Must have proven experience working outdoors on construction sites or similar
- Willing to work in all weather conditions
- Understands electrical diagrams, groundworks and civils drawings
- Has had exposure to groundworks previously
- Willing to work a highly mobile role - travelling across the whole of the UK
- Salary Β£30k-Β£40k depending on experience
