Astute’s Renewables team is partnering with a leading producer of biogas to recruit a Site Operator for their renewable energy plant near Mansfield. The Site Operative plays a vital part in ensuring the site is run correctly and high standards of health & safety are maintained. The role comes with a salary of up to £35,000 and an excellent benefits package.
If you have a background working in anaerobic digestion or a similar processing environment and are looking to work for an organisation that is passionate about renewable energy, then consider the following responsibilities and duties:
- Support with the day to day running of the anaerobic digestion plant
- Carrying out basic first line maintenance, such as isolating and changing pumps
- Operating mobile plant, such as a telehandler or loading shovel
- Take part in the on-call rota
- Monitoring the plant via the SCADA
- Keeping the site clean and tidy
- Maintaining high levels of health & safety
- Other duties as required
We are looking for someone with the following qualifications and skills:
- Telehandler/Loading Shovel/Tractor Licence or in-house training
- Engineering qualification/certificate is desired
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Previous operator experience in a similar processing environment
- First line maintenance experience
- Agricultural experience is highly desired
- Great work ethic
