Responsibilities and duties of the Plant Engineer role Reporting to the Plant Manager you will: Carry out planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance across the biomass production facility. Diagnose and repair electrical faults across plant machinery and production equipment. Fault find on motors, drives, control panels, sensors, instrumentation and associated electrical systems. Respond to breakdowns quickly and safely to minimise production downtime. Maintain and support electrical systems across conveyors, pellet presses, dryers, hammer mills, pumps, fans and other process equipment. Assist with installation, testing and commissioning of new electrical plant and machinery. Carry out inspections and identify potential electrical failures before they impact plant performance.
