Astute's Power Team is partnering with a global leader in vertical access to recruit a vertical access installation engineer to support with onshore and offshore installations nationwide.
The vertical access installation engineer role comes with a salary of £33,000 - £35,000 basic, plus guaranteed overtime on installs, door to door travel time, stayaway allowances and more.
Responsibilities and duties of the vertical access installation engineer role
Reporting to the engineering manager you will
- Install and assemble vertical access equipment in accordance with drawings and manufacturer specifications.
- Carry out mechanical and electrical installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Diagnose and resolve technical and installation issues.
- Ensure all work meets health, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Professional qualifications
- NVQ level 3 in a mechanical or electrical field
- Personal skills
- The vertical access installation engineer role would suit someone who has:
- Previous engineering, mechanical, electrical, or installation experience.
- Relevant vertical access experience is desirable.
