Astute’s Nuclear Team is partnering with a manufacturing business who specialise in the manufacture, precision fabrication, and welding of high-integrity pressure vessels for the UK’s most demanding and regulated industries, in recruiting a TIG Welder out of their manufacturing site in Abingdon. The TIG Welder comes with a salary between £34,200 and £37,620 (including shift bonus), and added benefits. Responsibilities and duties of the Welder role
- Reporting to the Line Manager
- Measure and prepare aluminium and steel for welds and fabrications
- Perform high quality TIG welds
- Maintain the workshop to standards
- Maintain Health and Safety within the workshop, and encourage others to do the same
