My client is seeking a Temporary Financial Accountant to cover sickness during a busy period. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who can quickly adapt and add value from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial and management accounts and financial reports
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies
- Liaise with auditors and internal stakeholders as required
Requirements
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a financial accounting role
- Strong Excel and financial reporting skills
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
