This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and proactive Credit Controller who enjoys working independently and taking responsibility for the full B2B credit control process within a busy, fast-paced environment.
The Role
As the sole Credit Controller within the business, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end credit control function, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debt and maintaining strong customer relationships across a B2B ledger.
Key responsibilities include:
- Full ownership of B2B credit control processes
- Proactively chasing overdue debt via phone, email, and written communication
- Managing and maintaining aged debt reports
- Allocating payments and reconciling customer accounts
- Resolving invoice queries and disputes efficiently
- Liaising with internal departments to resolve billing issues
- Building strong relationships with key business customers
- Supporting cash flow through effective debt recovery strategies
- Regular reporting on debtor performance
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience in B2B credit control (essential)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage a high-volume ledger independently
- Experience handling aged debt
