Prepare examples from your past roles that showcase your analytical skills and how you've interpreted data to drive decisions.
✨Master the Art of Communication
Stakeholder management is crucial in this role, so practice articulating your thoughts clearly. This will show that you can build relationships across all levels of the organisation.
✨Excel at Excel
Strong Excel skills are a must-have for this position. Before the interview, make sure you're comfortable with advanced functions and data analysis tools. You might even want to prepare a quick demonstration of how you've used Excel in previous roles to manage budgets or forecast cash flows.
✨Prepare for Scenario Questions
Expect to face scenario-based questions that assess your problem-solving abilities. Think about challenges you've encountered in previous roles, particularly around P&L and cash flow forecasting, and how you overcame them. This will help you demonstrate your attention to detail and ability to prioritise under pressure.
