My client is a leader in the manufacture and specialist services in the business/private jet sector.
They are hiring for a permanent \"Avionics & Electrical Engineer\". This is an hybrid role, with 2 days a week, and you can work from one of Bristol, Reading, Bournemouth or Galway (Ireland)
Responsibilities include:
- Leading of system-level integrations of avionics LRU's such as bench, ground and flight test activities
- Define and maintain ICD's
- Avionics network architecture work such as ARINC-429, ARINC-664 (AFDX), CAN, Ethernet
- Technical direction of electrical system certification
- Conduct technical research and documentation
Successful candidates should have:
- 4+ years experience in a similar. Those with 10+ will be considered for a Lead role they also have
- Knowledge of 14 CFR Part 23 certification
- RTCA DO-160 qualified ideally
- Electrical and systems design knowledge
- Experience with Avionics and Electrical system testing and certification
- Fluent English language skills and working permissions for the UK
