Astrum Search are working with an international market leader in their search for a Senior Internal Auditor to join their London HQ Internal Audit team. This role plays a key part in delivering the annual audit plan across group companies and business units, providing independent assurance and insight to both local and senior management.
The Role
- Deliver internal audits across business units, group companies, and functions
- Act as lead auditor on assigned audits when required
- Identify and assess key business risks within a complex, matrix organisation
- Report audit findings clearly and accurately to senior stakeholders
- Support independent testing of company-level and process-level controls (J-SOX)
- Work closely with the Internal Audit Manager to ensure high audit standards
Travel
International travel required (approx. 30β40%, mainly Europe)
Experience
- Qualified accountant or auditor (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / IIA)
- Strong experience in internal audit, ideally within complex or global organisations
- Confident engaging with senior and executive-level stakeholders
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills
- Comfortable working independently while being a strong team player
