Astrum Search is working exclusively with a global leader in the media and communications market to recruit a Risk & Controls Manager. This is a newly created role in a growing team in London.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert on risk and controls
- Design and implement financial, operational, and compliance controls aligned with internal frameworks
- Operate quality review and control monitoring programs
- Coordinate internal and external audits and monitor remediation
- Drive continuous improvement and process standardisation
- Support strategic projects requiring robust controls
Experience Required
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent with prior internal controls, SOX, or internal audit experience
- Strong ability to assess business risk and evaluate internal control systems
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to engage senior stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Media industry experience is a plus but not essential
You will join an international team working on a range of interesting projects. The business is growing and changing, making this a great time to join the team. The role is based in their Central London HQ and you will be required in the office 3 times per week. Travel is expected to be limited.
