This senior role provides independent insight into how modern technology organisations operate, beyond traditional assurance. You will work with engineering leaders and architects to assess how technology decisions impact performance, risk, and outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead assurance reviews across cloud, applications, infrastructure, and data platforms
  • Assess enterprise architecture, system design, and integration patterns
  • Review CI/CD pipelines, engineering practices, deployments, and resilience
  • Evaluate delivery governance and transformation programmes for execution risk
  • Challenge third-party services, APIs, and system dependencies
  • Assess scalability, resilience, and stability of critical systems
  • Use data-led approaches to identify systemic risks and performance issues

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in technology risk, engineering, consulting, or digital assurance
  • Strong understanding of cloud, DevOps, CI/CD, APIs, and microservices
  • Experience working with engineering and technical delivery teams
  • Ability to assess systems and delivery performance at scale
  • Background in financial services, technology, consulting, or similar environments
