We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Head of Talent & Performance to lead the development of leadership and management capability across our values led client.
In this pivotal role, you will shape and deliver a comprehensive talent strategy that strengthens early careers programmes, apprenticeships, and internal mobility pathways. You will oversee the design and evolution of talent frameworks, ensuring they support organisational growth and workforce development. You will take ownership of the performance management framework, driving a high-performance culture through effective processes, tools, and leadership alignment. Leading a small, high-impact team, you will provide strategic direction, coaching, and support to deliver best-in-class talent and performance initiatives.
Key responsibilities:- Lead the development of leadership and management capability across all levels
- Strengthen and expand early careers and apprenticeship programmes
- Design and enhance internal mobility pathways to support career progression
- Oversee and evolve talent frameworks aligned to business strategy
- Own and continuously improve the performance management framework
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of three talent professionals
- A data-driven decision maker with strong commercial acumen
- Proven experience in talent management, succession planning, and high-potential development
- Demonstrated ability to translate insight and analytics into impactful talent strategies
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels
- Experience building and embedding scalable frameworks and processes
