The Security Architect is a key consulting role, working with PA’s clients across the private and public sectors to define security architectures and solutions to match their business requirements and risks. It will allow you to combine your expertise in information security, solution architecture, and business advice to define secure solutions in some of the most challenging environments. You will have the opportunity to be genuinely creative in providing clients with innovative security approaches and solutions.
Flexible working - We are currently operating a discretionary hybrid working model which is designed to help you plan your work and your life. We want our people to come into the office at least two days a week.
Qualifications
- Defining the end-to-end security architecture and solution for a project or programme, creating Conceptual, Logical and Implementation of Architecture views to align to business needs.
- Working to deliver leading-edge solutions in identity management, network and infrastructure protection, cloud security, security monitoring, network segregation etc., to defend against some of the most advanced threats and capable threat actors.
- Reviewing the current state of client’s security measures and recommending and implementing enhancements.
- Interpreting complex business and technical issues to create a viable solution.
- Working on projects with high strategic impact, setting a strategy that can be used in the long term and across the breadth of the organisation.
- Designing secure system architectures through the application of patterns and principles, to meet user needs while managing business and security risks.
- Applying innovative security architecture solutions to problems and being able to justify and communicate design decisions.
To meet the demands of the Security Architect role, a solid foundation in information security, relevant certifications (such as CISSP, CISM, IISP/CCP, TOGAF, SABSA), and a proven history of delivering security solutions for large-scale infrastructure or integration projects are essential.
