PA. Bringing Ingenuity to Life.
This role is a Fixed Term Contract for 8 months.
Flexible working – We operate on a hybrid basis, working two days per week in the office. This role will be based from our Global Innovation & Technology Centre in Melbourn, Cambridge.
Our Talent & Development offer is a core part of our Employee Brand and the role of Operations Team Lead is responsible for the delivery of a diverse range of learning events within our global learning curriculum.
You will lead the operations team as well as take an active role in collaborating with our Learning specialists and Digital teams to support the delivery of our blended learning solutions, including virtual and face-to-face events delivered both internally and through external suppliers.
Role Responsibilities
- Manage and co-ordinate the activities and deliverables of the L & D Ops team.
- Implement and manage schedule of learning events of the core learning curriculum.
- Manage event bookings – booking venue/platform, manage attendance bookings, trainer resourcing, producing materials, working with external suppliers, raising purchase orders.
- Initiate event feedback and provide summary reports to trainers and specialists.
- Update and maintain event content on the Learning Management System.
- Support the team in handling ad-hoc queries around T&D offerings and reporting requests.
- Stakeholder management with suppliers, venues, as well as internally with event specialists and business sponsors.
- Identify, review and recommend process improvements to enable more effective and efficient processes to enhance customer service.
- Support in producing and hosting virtual events where required.
- Ad-hoc support to the wider T&D team.
Qualifications
We are looking for a well-organised and self-motivated co-ordinator that has:
- Knowledge and understanding of managing L & D Operations, ideally using Workday Learning as the LMS.
- Collaborative team player skills and who is equally comfortable working from own initiative.
- Strong communication, organisation, and planning skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering excellence.
- Influencing and partnering skills, able to build and sustain relationships at multiple levels.
- Previously worked in a high volume fast-paced working environment.
- Strong IT systems skills including use of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams with the ability to quickly learn new systems including implementing and managing HR/learning management systems would be beneficial.
