We are looking for a forward‑thinking, solutions‑focused innovation specialist to become an integral part of a care technology partnership. The role focuses on providing innovative care technology solutions in the most complex cases, including with working‑age adults, children, and virtual care.
Reports to: Operations Manager.
Working arrangements:
- Hybrid working – office or client site minimum 2 days per week; actual time varies by role, up to 5 days per week on a client site.
- Flexible working – guided by client work and needs; autonomy to manage time and diary.
- Occasional travel to PA’s London office in Victoria.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting specialist CT installations – completing installations of specialist CT equipment for complex cases, including in supported living schemes, for virtual support provision and with children.
- Provider engagement – liaising with care providers to support them to embrace and fully utilise technology to improve people’s lives.
- Working in partnership with health and care professionals – collaborating with relevant professionals in a solution‑focused way to identify suitable solutions in complex cases.
- Upskilling – training colleagues and partners to understand and install specialist CT equipment.
- Driving innovation – engaging with CT equipment suppliers to test and evaluate new technology solutions, determining their suitability for use as part of our offer.
- Supporting CT transformation – working collaboratively with our Transformation and Programme Delivery function to design, deliver and evaluate CT proof of concepts.
Qualifications:
- Expertise and an interest in technology and innovation, preferably in care technology.
- A passion for working in Adult Social Care and supporting people to live better lives, particularly working‑age adults.
- A good understanding of social care users and their needs and the outcomes of care technology.
- A strong grasp of the health and care sector, including understanding of safeguarding, personalisation and working with vulnerable people.
- An ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, partners and clients to identify innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage independently with clients and produce high‑quality and well‑structured reports and documents.
- Willing and able to travel across Argenti sites as required to conduct or support installations or training.
- Enhanced DBS check will be required. Due to the nature of the role, regular travel is required.
- Applicants should have a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle. Business‑related travel expenses will be reimbursed in line with PA policy.
