Hair & Beauty Lecturer Status: Vacancy Location: Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent Start: September Duration: Ongoing Hours: 2 days per week Pay: DOE About the Opportunity Astro Education are looking for a Hair & Beauty Lecturer to join a specialist educational setting based in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, working 2 days per week. The successful candidate will support and teach students studying Hair & Beauty, helping them develop their practical skills, knowledge and confidence. The role will also involve supporting students with a variety of SEN requirements, so patience, adaptability and a supportive approach are essential. The Role * Deliver engaging Hair & Beauty lessons to students. * Support students with a range of SEN requirements and learning needs. * Help students develop their practical and theoretical knowledge. * Create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment. * Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual student needs. * Work closely with school staff and other professionals to support student progress. * Take responsibility for planning and delivering lessons across your allocated days. Required Experience * Experience teaching or delivering Hair & Beauty-related subjects. * Relevant teaching, training or industry qualifications/experience. * Experience working with students with SEN is desirable. * Patient, flexible and adaptable approach. * Excellent communication and teamwork skills. * Commitment to supporting students to reach their full potential. * Ability to work 2 days per week.
