Astro Education is currently recruiting a School Administrator to join a welcoming primary school in Sandbach on a full-time, long-term basis, with the potential for the role to become permanent. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised, professional and friendly individual who enjoys working in a busy environment and wants to play an important role in supporting the school, staff, pupils and parents. The Role * Managing the school reception and acting as the first point of contact for visitors, parents and staff * Handling incoming telephone calls and emails * Maintaining pupil records and updating school databases * Supporting attendance monitoring and reporting * Assisting with admissions and school communications * Producing letters, reports and general correspondence * Supporting senior leaders and teaching staff with administrative tasks * Ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed when welcoming visitors The Ideal Candidate * Previous administration experience is needed * Strong organisational and time management skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office * Professional, approachable and reliable * Able to work independently and as part of a team * Previous school administration experience is advantageous but not essential * Experience with SIMS, Arbor or Bromcom would be beneficial What We Offer * Full-time, Monday–Friday position * Long-term supply with the potential to become permanent * Competitive rates of pay * Weekly PAYE pay * Dedicated consultant support * Opportunity to become an important part of a school community Apply Today If you have strong administrative skills and would enjoy working in a busy primary school environment, we’d love to hear from you.
