This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that develop creativity, confidence, performance skills, and a love of the performing arts. The Role
- Plan and deliver engaging Drama and Dance lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Encourage creativity, self-expression, and confidence in students
- Assess, monitor, and support student progress
- Contribute to school productions, performances, and extracurricular activities where appropriate
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Drama and/or Dance at secondary level
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- A genuine passion for performing arts education
- The ability to motivate and engage learners of varying abilities
