The Role
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging EYFS provision
- Work with individuals and small groups to support early development
- Assist with play-based learning activities and continuous provision
- Help create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment
- Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development
- Contribute positively to the wider school community
Requirements
- Experience working within EYFS (Nursery or Reception preferred)
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
- A caring, patient, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Understanding of early years development and safeguarding
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
