EYFS Teaching Assistant – Holmes Chapel | Maternity Cover | September Start

Holmes Chapel | Full-Time | Long-Term Maternity Cover

Pay: £95 – £100 per day (DOE)

Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm | Weekly Pay Available

The Role

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging EYFS provision
  • Work with individuals and small groups to support early development
  • Assist with play-based learning activities and continuous provision
  • Help create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment
  • Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development
  • Contribute positively to the wider school community

Requirements

  • Experience working within EYFS (Nursery or Reception preferred)
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
  • A caring, patient, and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Understanding of early years development and safeguarding
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
