The Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-focused Candidate Sourcing, Attraction & Compliance Officer to join our growing team. This is a key role combining candidate recruitment, attraction, and full compliance management, ensuring we maintain the highest standards across our workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively sourcing education professionals through job boards, social media, referrals, and networking
- Creating and posting engaging job adverts to attract high-quality candidates
- Managing candidate enquiries and building strong relationships
- Supporting recruitment consultants with candidate pipelines
Compliance & Onboarding
- Managing the end-to-end compliance process for education staff
- Ensuring all candidate files meet safeguarding, statutory, and agency requirements
- Conducting and verifying DBS checks, references, right-to-work documentation, and qualifications
- Guiding candidates through the registration and onboarding process
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in line with GDPR
- Assisting with audits and internal compliance reviews
Stakeholder Liaison
- Liaising with schools, candidates, and internal teams regarding compliance and recruitment matters
- Keeping up to date with changes in safeguarding and education recruitment legislation
Requirements
- Experience in recruitment, compliance, or education supply (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Knowledge of safeguarding and safer recruitment practices
- Confident communicator with a professional and approachable manner
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines
- Competent with recruitment systems, databases, and job boards
