Are you an experienced Cover Supervisor looking for a rewarding role in Secondary Education? Astro Education is recruiting Cover Supervisors to support Secondary Schools across Cheshire East, including Crewe, Nantwich, Sandbach, Northwich, Knutsford, Congleton, Macclesfield, Winsford and surrounding areas, starting as soon as possible. We're proud to be working alongside a large Cheshire East collaborative multi-academy trust committed to high-quality teaching, respect, ambition and preparing pupils for the challenges of a changing world.
Daily rate: Β£100-Β£130 per day (dependent on experience)
What You Will Do
- Deliver lesson plans confidently in the absence of the class teacher
- Maintain purposeful learning environments across Secondary settings
- Supervise and support pupils across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5
- Work with diverse groups of learners, including those with additional needs
- Promote positive behaviour and high expectations in line with school culture
What You Will Need to Succeed
- Confident, adaptable, and enthusiastic
- Experienced working with Secondary age students (or with transferable skills)
- Flexible, patient, and able to think on their feet
- Strong communicators and team players
- Open to, or experienced in, supporting pupils with a variety of SEN
- Able to work core school hours
