This is a fantastic opportunity for organised, professional, and friendly individuals who enjoy working in a busy environment and want to play a key role in supporting schools, staff, pupils, and parents. Whether you have previous school administration experience or come from a strong administrative or customer service background, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the school reception and acting as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and staff
- Handling incoming telephone calls and emails
- Maintaining pupil records and updating school databases
- Supporting attendance monitoring and reporting
- Assisting with admissions and school communications
- Producing letters, reports, and general correspondence
- Supporting senior leaders and teaching staff with administrative tasks
- Ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed when welcoming visitors to the school
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous administration experience
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional, approachable, and reliable
- Experience using school systems such as SIMS, Arbor, or Bromcom would be advantageous but is not essential
