Astro Education is currently working with one secondary school in Uttoxeter that is seeking a qualified Computer Science Teacher for a 0.8 FTE position, starting either immediately or in September. The Role

As a Computer Science Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging Computer Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Plan and deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching
  • Support students in developing programming and digital skills
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively
  • Contribute to the wider school department where required

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong subject knowledge in Computer Science
  • Confident classroom management skills
  • Adaptable, professional and reliable approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
