Astro Education is currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic RE Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in the Greater Manchester area on a long-term, full-time basis, starting as soon as possible.
The successful candidate will teach Religious Education across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons while supporting students to achieve their full potential.
The Role
- Teaching Religious Education across KS3 and KS4
- Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
- Marking and assessing students' work in line with school expectations
- Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback
- Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom management
- Working collaboratively with colleagues within the RE department and wider school
- Contributing positively to the wider life of the school
The Ideal Candidate
- Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching RE at secondary level
- Experience teaching across KS3 and KS4
- Strong classroom management skills
- Able to plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons
- Organised, reliable and committed to supporting students
- A positive and professional approach to working with pupils and colleagues
