Position: Religious Education (RE) Teacher
Contract: Long-term, full-time
Start Date: As soon as possible
Key Stages: KS3 & KS4
Essential: QTS
Astro Education is currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic RE Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in the Greater Manchester area on a long-term, full-time basis , starting as soon as possible.
The successful candidate will teach Religious Education across KS3 and KS4 , delivering engaging and well-structured lessons while supporting students to achieve their full potential.
The Role
Teaching Religious Education across KS3 and KS4
Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
Marking and assessing students' work in line with school expectations
Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback
Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom management
Working collaboratively with colleagues within the RE department and wider school
Contributing positively to the wider life of the school
The Ideal Candidate
Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching RE at secondary level
Experience teaching across KS3 and KS4
Strong classroom management skills
Able to plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons
Organised, reliable and committed to supporting students
A positive and professional approach to working with pupils and colleagues
