About the Opportunity
Astro Education are working in partnership with a range of welcoming, supportive and inclusive primary schools across Manchester and the surrounding areas, who are looking for qualified Primary Teachers with QTS to join their teams on a full-time, long-term basis.

The Role
As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment where every pupil is supported to reach their full potential.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons
- Teaching in line with the National Curriculum and school expectations
- Differentiating learning to meet the needs of individual pupils
- Creating an inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive
- Assessing, monitoring and recording pupil progress
- Providing constructive feedback to support pupil development
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively and positively
- Building strong and positive relationships with pupils
- Working closely with Teaching Assistants and support staff
- Supporting pupils with additional needs and adapting learning appropriately
- Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, achievement and progress
- Communicating effectively with colleagues and parents/carers where required
- Contributing to planning, assessment and wider school activities
- Supporting the safeguarding and wellbeing of all pupils
- Following school policies and procedures
- Contributing positively to the wider life of the school
What We're Looking For
We are looking for qualified Primary Teachers who hold QTS and are:
- Passionate about teaching and committed to improving outcomes for pupils
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Confident planning and delivering engaging lessons
- Able to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Strong in classroom and behaviour management
- Able to differentiate teaching to meet a range of abilities
- Confident assessing and monitoring pupil progress
- Reliable, organised and professional
- Strong communicators who work well with colleagues
- Adaptable and able to respond to the individual needs of pupils
- Committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
- Looking for a full-time, long-term teaching opportunity
