We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our wonderful SEN schools. As an Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant you will be working closely with the children to provide social, emotional, and physical support.
Location: Barton-upon-Humber
Hours: 9am till 3:30pm - Monday to Friday
Salary: £80 - £100 Per Day - Depending on Experience
Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
- Provide one-on-one support to students with special needs, including those with autism, ADHD or other learning disabilities
- Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Collaborate with teachers to create and maintain an organized classroom setting
- Support students during classroom activities, ensuring their engagement and participation
- Help students with daily tasks such as eating, dressing, and personal hygiene
- Monitor student behaviour and intervene when necessary to maintain a positive learning environment
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to provide updates on student progress
