See our commitments here.This is a maternity cover position for 12 monthsThe Senior Store Designer (Mat Cover) MissionTo drive our retail growth by leading creative design projects—from store openings and refits to day-to-day team operations. You\’ll shape the future of our spaces through innovative concepts, new retail formats, and a customer-first approach to design.Lead and manage our two Store Designers in the creation of all store designs according to principles and guidelinesCreating new design store concepts with the goal to become more scalable, including researching materials, fine tune details, researching potential cost reductions and translation of the Astrid & Miyu brand & values into the designKeep track and manage the design team throughout the process of the design to completion. This will be in collaboration with the project managers, retail, creative, product, marketing and VM, etcCollaborate with the creative & branding teams to ensure a cohesive omni-channel brand experienceCoordinate with project managers, architects, landlords and planning to make sure yearly targets for store projects are delivered within budget, on time and according to brand standardsLead product range rollouts to ensure it meets the needs of the business, budgets and innovative designCoordinate with external design agencies for the creation of a store, including briefing, managing budget & creative direction to make sure deliverables are handed over in time, on brand and within budgetSupport the Retail Director with assessing feasibility of new store locations and projectsContribute to the company’s goals of more sustainable store roll out and construction. Have a sustainable and circular mindset at the start of every design and with everything you do What You\’ll Need To ThriveRelevant experience within a Senior Store Design, retail design role, alongside management experienceDegree level qualification or higher in a relevant field (Architecture or Interior Design)Our core values resonate with you on a personal levelProficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and InDesign) and Microsoft OfficeAdaptable, able to handle multiple projects in line with budget and timelines with confidenceYou have a commercial mindset and creative flair, always curious to elevate your workYou have excellent communication skills, able to collaborate with other departments across the business The Interview Process And Candidate ExperienceLife Story & Values – a 30 min video call with our Talent Team for us to get know each other better, asking questions inspired by our three core valuesExperience Interview – a slightly longer video call for you to meet your manager and discuss your skill-set and experience for the roleFinal Interview – 1 hour in person task interview to complete and present Feedback: We’re committed to creating the best candidate experience we can for you.
