The Project Specialist II is responsible for delivering and maintaining hardware for external events (both consumer-facing, as well as for our growing developer community) and partnering on our client’s broader internal event initiatives. The role partners closely with internal product and marketing teams, as well as outside agencies, to produce events and workshops at the client site and at trade shows.
Your Roles And Responsibilities
- Work with events leads to fulfill and assist in the review and execution of inbound event hardware requests.
- Own the communication cycle with requestors, both internal and external with minimal daily guidance/supervision.
- Act as a device consultant to event requesters ensuring technical feasibility.
- Initiate updates, resolve issues and identify process improvements.
- Ability to explain 1st party platforms and troubleshoot hardware.
- Maintain knowledge for new products being constantly developed.
- Unpacking/packing/transporting products and aiding the delivery/shipment of materials as needed.
- Prepare devices for distribution including software updates, flashing devices, etc.
- Manage tracking system to accurately track and forecast hardware needs for events throughout the year.
Required Qualifications/Skills
- Excellent communication skills, including writing, proofreading skills, and speaking.
- Passion and curiosity to proactively learn about new products and technologies.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
- Proficient with Google Suites (docs, sheets, slides, etc).
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; significant work experience can substitute for the degree.
- Logistics experience in both domestic and international shipping (Dangerous Goods Certification a plus).
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple concurrent projects.
- Experience troubleshooting Android and Chrome hardware and software issues.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
- Customer service and team oriented.
Physical Demand & Work Environment
- Must have the ability to perform office-related tasks which may include prolonged sitting or standing.
- Must be able to lift 25/50/80 pound boxes regularly.
- Must have the ability to move from place to place within an office environment.
- Must be able to use a computer.
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively.
- Some positions may require occasional repetitive motion or movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
