An exciting opportunity for an ambitious, motivated and forward‑thinking Estate Manager/Land Agent to join the in‑house team on the Dallam Tower Estate. With a heritage dating back to the 1500’s, the Estate is grounded in traditional values but modern and innovative in outlook.

Located on the southern edge of the Lake District, in an exceptionally beautiful part of the countryside, the Estate extends across a diverse and scenic landscape of parkland, farmland, woodland and coastline. Around half lies within the Arnside & Silverdale National Landscape, an area recognised for its outstanding natural beauty.

The Estate encompasses a wide range of assets, including let farms, residential and commercial property, forestry, a deer park, caravan park, sporting interests as well as renewable energy projects and development opportunities.

The successful candidate will work closely with the owners to support the effective management and long‑term development of the Estate’s assets, operations and future projects. The position offers significant breadth and responsibility within a supportive and collaborative estate environment. With a hands‑on and entrepreneurial approach to estate management, the owners actively encourage diversification and continuous improvement across all areas of the business.

Candidate Profile

  • MRICS / CAAV qualification with strong experience in rural estate management or professional practice
  • Knowledge of agricultural, residential and commercial tenancies
  • Experience of planning, development and grant schemes
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Commercial awareness with an entrepreneurial approach
  • Ability to manage a varied workload and balance strategic thinking with practical delivery
