A fantastic new opportunity has arisen for an innovative, energetic, and commercially astute Assistant Estate Manager to join the inhouse team on the Broadlands Estate in Hampshire. This beautiful, privately owned, country Estate extends to some 4,550 acres of land centred around Broadlands House, a Grade 1 listed building, and the family home to owners Earl and Countess Mountbatten of Burma.

The Estate is located on the edge of Romsey, Hampshire, 7 miles north of Southampton and 15 miles south of Winchester, within easy reach of the South Coast, and benefits from good road and rail connections via the M27, M3 and Romsey railway station.

Assisting, and learning from, the Estate Director, the successful candidate will be involved in a broad range of tasks including the management of the existing day‑to‑day operations as well as strategic development projects across the diverse property portfolio which includes commercial, residential, agricultural, sporting, and green energy.

The successful candidate will ideally be MRICS/CAAV qualified with proven experience in estate management. Candidates who are not qualified but who have relevant experience will also be considered.

Showing confidence, you will be capable of taking charge and leading various projects independently with minimal supervision. A team player with strong interpersonal skills and a friendly and resourceful demeanor, you will be ambitious, eager to take initiative, demonstrate capabilities and contribute ideas.
