We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Teaching Assistant to support teachers in the full planning cycle and classroom delivery, helping to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment. The role involves working both during and beyond school hours to enrich curriculum learning and ensure all pupils can access educational opportunities.
The successful candidate will provide tailored support to pupils, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), assisting with individual learning programmes, EHCPs, and personal care where required. They will help manage classroom behaviour, promote positive relationships, and encourage pupil independence and achievement.
Working closely with teachers and other professionals, the Teaching Assistant will contribute to lesson planning, deliver learning activities, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback. The role also includes assisting with classroom organisation, maintaining resources, recording pupil progress, and supporting assessment activities.
This role requires a compassionate, organised and flexible individual who can build strong relationships with pupils, support inclusion, and contribute positively to the wider school community.
