We are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to work with children who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities at Wood Field Primary School.
Main responsibilities:
- Modeling and prompting appropriate social interactions during playtime, group work, and classroom activities.
- Implementing agreed-upon behaviour support strategies (e.g., Positive Behaviour Support plans) to help students regulate their emotions and behaviour.
- Assisting the teacher in modifying and adapting learning materials (e.g., simplifying instructions, creating visual aids, using specialized equipment) to meet Individual Education Plan (IEP) or Education, Health and Care (EHC) Plan targets.
