Job Details

  • Post: Lunchtime Supervisor
  • Basis: Temporary to cover maternity leave
  • Grade: Grade 3 SCP 3
  • Salary: £24,796 pro‑rata
  • Hours: 6.25 hours per week, Monday – Friday 11.55am – 1.10pm (subject to change)
  • Location: Holy Family and St Michael’s Catholic Primary School, Cobblers Lane, Pontefract, WF8 2HN

Key Responsibilities

  • Escorting pupils to and from the dining hall
  • Supervising pupils in the dining hall and playground
  • Administering minor first aid where required
  • Reporting any accidents, incidents, or injuries in line with school procedures
  • Supporting pupils with feeding and toileting, in accordance with individual needs, where required
  • Managing behaviour in line with the school’s policies and reporting any concerns appropriately

Safeguarding and Compliance

In accordance with the Childcare (Disqualification) Regulations 2009, shortlisted candidates will be required to declare that they are not disqualified (or disqualified by association) from working within this setting. The successful applicant will be required to complete a Disclosure Application Form and provide details of any criminal convictions. An enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references will be required.
