St Katherine’s School is an oversubscribed, community school situated in the Bristol area. The school has been rated as meeting expected standards by Ofsted (March 2026). The role sits within the Inclusive Education team, supporting pupils with SEND and working to eliminate barriers to learning.
Responsibilities- Provide effective support to pupil learning across the school.
- Assist pupils with SEND to access an ambitious curriculum at all key stages.
- Collaborate with teachers, leaders and external agencies to identify needs and evaluate interventions.
- Support a culture of inclusion, belonging and pastoral care.
- Participate in continuous professional development and reflect on practice.
- Self‑motivated, professional, positive and supportive.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience working with pupils with SEN or SEND.
- Knowledge of inclusive practice and support provision.
