Maternity Cover - Early Years Practitioner – Burrington C of E Primary School
The governors are seeking to appoint maternity cover for an Early Years Practitioner within our Cherry Buds nursery team (age 3/4) from January 2027, fixed term for a year or until the post holder returns, whichever is earlier. We are looking for a kind, calm and friendly person to join our vibrant and happy school team. The post is term time, plus 5 inset days, 31.25 hours a week over Monday- Friday, 8:30 to 15:15 with half an hour lunch break.
Burrington is a delightful four class rural primary school including a nursery in the Mendip Hills. We are an inclusive Church School with a strong Christian ethos. We became part of a federation in November 2018 and we joined Lighthouse Schools’ Partnership in January 2023. The school was awarded a ‘Expected Standard and a Strong Standard’ judgement in its most recent Ofsted (2025) and an ‘excellent’ judgement in SIAMS (2018).
