We are a values-based community that focuses on the learning of all students and staff, that cares deeply for our young people and each other and that is committed to co-curricular enrichment. Our stated goal is to be a +1 school for progress and as such, we are looking for an exceptional teacher to join us in our mission.

Amplify Education is a dynamic new multi-academy trust of 22 schools across Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset, formed through the thoughtful and planned merger of TiLA and CST. United by a shared vision, we are a bold voice for Bristol – committed to building belief in every young person, expanding opportunities, nurturing potential, and strengthening citizenship. We are ambitious, reflective, and collaborative – driven to improve outcomes for young people while working together, learning from one another and continually strengthening our practice.

The Opportunity: We are looking for a motivated and impactful PE teacher to join our ambitious PE team from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful department and be part of its journey from excellent to world class. We are looking for candidates who relish the challenges and rewards of working in a highly ambitious school. Due to the nature of the role and the need to supervise our female students in the changing rooms before and after PE lessons, we are seeking a female PE teacher. This is an occupational requirement due to the sensitive nature of the work and the specific safeguarding requirements of the role.

About You: You are likely to have gained first-rate PE teaching skills through your career or training. You will be able to bring to us a relentless drive for high standards and understanding of pedagogy. You will have QTS.

If you join us, you will benefit from:

  • Trinity is a ‘Good’ school with ‘Outstanding’ leadership and management and ‘Outstanding’ Personal Development (Ofsted Jan 2024).
  • This is an ambitious school that wants the very best for its pupils, both academically and pastorally.
  • The school’s curriculum is highly ambitious for all pupils.
  • Lessons are not disrupted by poor behaviour.
  • The school is calm and orderly because pupils understand the rules and routines in place.
  • The progress of our students is significantly above the national average (P8 +0.53).
  • We believe in our leaders – we do not micro-manage.
  • Hardworking staff and students who want to do well.
  • Consistent behaviour and expectations allow you to focus on the craft and science of teaching.
  • Weekly coaching for all staff and weekly department co-planning.
  • Exceptionally visible and supportive senior leadership team.
  • Schemes of work fully resourced and ready.

  • Onsite parking or easy access via public transport.
  • Flexible working fully supported and enhanced family-friendly policies.
