High Down Schools wishes to appoint an experienced, highly organised, flexible and friendly Office Manager to lead the administrative, financial and organisational functions of our busy school office. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the Headteacher, leadership team, staff, pupils and families, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the school on a daily basis. The Office Manager will oversee administrative and financial processes, maintain key school systems and records, support safeguarding and compliance requirements, coordinate admissions and attendance administration, and provide a welcoming and professional service to our school community. This is a varied and rewarding role requiring excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.

Qualifications

  • Highly organised, methodical and able to work effectively in a busy environment with frequent interruptions
  • Has significant experience working in an administrative or office based role and can confidently manage a wide range of responsibilities
  • Can build and maintain positive relationships with pupils, parents, staff, governors and external partners
  • Demonstrates excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Can work with accuracy, attention to detail and complete confidentiality at all times
  • Has strong IT skills, including experience of Microsoft Office and school management systems
  • Can manage sensitive information appropriately and exercise sound judgement
  • Will actively contribute to the positive culture and values of both the school and the Lighthouse Schools Partnership

Our School

High Down Schools are comprised of a large Infant and Junior school set in lovely green surroundings. The Trust

The Lighthouse Schools Partnership (LSP) is a Multi Academy Trust which has experienced rapid growth since it started in 2016. There are currently 34 schools in the Trust. The Lighthouse Schools Partnership is cross phase and includes Infant, Junior, Primary and Secondary schools. The Trust is a mixed MAT and includes both non denominational and Church of England schools.
