Contract: Fixed Term Contract

Hours: 20.5 per week plus 5 Insets

Salary: JG4 SCP 7‑11 £26,403 – £28,142 FTE per annum (pro rata £12,849.16 – £13,695.46)

Start Date: 1st September 2026 – 31 August 2027

Role Overview

The Federation of Bishop Sutton Primary & Stanton Drew Primary Schools are seeking a Learning Partner to support the learning of children across the schools.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering learning activities for children with SEND and SEMH needs.
  • Adapting and delivering support to meet individual needs.
  • Maintaining child protection and safeguarding practices.
  • Collaborating with staff to promote a positive learning environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience working with children with SEND and SEMH needs.
  • Experience planning and delivering learning activities.
  • Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding.
  • Understanding of how to adapt and deliver support to meet individual needs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • A positive ‘can do’ attitude and nurturing nature.
  • Level 2 qualifications or higher.

Working Pattern

  • Monday: 6.5 hours
  • Tuesday: 6.5 hours
  • Wednesday: 2.5 hours
  • Thursday: 2.5 hours
  • Friday: 2.5 hours
